Dissemination and Emerging Impacts

NDTV film #Roshandilli

On 5 April 2019, NDTV a major Indian news channel started their #RoshanDilli campaign with a film showing the challenges faced by women who live and work in the capital. This film featured the #Khadarkiladkiyan rap video and the women participants from Khadar. This film showed that while Delhi has developed over the years, it still remains the crime capital of the country, with the highest number of reported rapes. More steps need to be taken to make it safer for women, from ensuring well lit streets, to better transport facility, policing as well as a push for societal change.
